Who is Art da Rosa?

Art adopted America as his home country. He was born in Macau, a former Portuguese colony next to Hong Kong. He moved to America as a teenager, seeking freedom.

Profession and Education

Art is a Professional Civil Engineer and a Certified Floodplain Manager. He has served as Public Works Director and Civil Engineer.

He received his Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from BYU and his Master of Public Administration degree from Fresno State.

Family

Art is a husband, father, and grandfather.

His wife, Shannon, was born and raised in Rigby. She is a school teacher.

Both Art and Shannon are avid readers.

American Values

Art loves freedom; he is well-read in our Constitution and the principles of freedom. Art is a Conservative, and he has been teaching a constitution class for the last seven years in eastern Idaho.

Art has also contributed to many newspaper articles.
