Art da Rosa

Idaho State Senate

District 28

Who is Art da Rosa?

Art is a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.

At a young age, he lived through the Cultural Revolution (a large-scale communist-sponsored riot). Even at a young age, Art decided that he wanted to be free.

At the age of eighteen, he began his American citizenship journey by obtaining a student visa when he left Macau. Art adopted the United States of America when he obtained citizenship in 1986.

He graduated from BYU with a degree in civil engineering, and later with a Master of Public Administration from Fresno State. He learned dedication, loyalty, and faithfulness while serving a mission in Portugal. Living under freedom, Art flourished as a citizen, a human, and an engineer. He proved himself to be an exceptional leader by turning around demoralized public works departments. He also proved himself to be ingenuitive by introducing new construction techniques.

For the last three years, Art has been volunteering his time and knowledge by teaching a class on the Constitution in Pocatello. The recent nationwide adoption of poor morals and societal division has prompted and emboldened him to run for the Idaho State Senate

da Rosa originates from Macau, a former Portuguese territory, now part of China
